FAQ
Who owns the copyright to the images?
Soma Stills retains copyright and ownership of all images. A licence gives you permission to use the images for the agreed purposes but does not transfer copyright ownership.
Can other businesses use my licensed images?
No. Licences are granted to the specific business or organisation purchasing the licence and cannot be transferred or shared with third parties. Additional businesses require their own licence.
Can I choose my own images?
Yes. Our Commercial Image Collections allow you to select your preferred images from the full proof gallery.
Can I purchase more images later?
Yes. Additional images can be added to your collection at the applicable per-image rate.
Can I edit or alter the images?
Images may not be materially altered, filtered or edited without prior approval from Soma Stills. Minor cropping or resizing for different platforms is permitted.
Can I sell or give the images to someone else?
No. Commercial licences are non-transferable and the images cannot be resold, sublicensed or provided to another business or organisation.
